Ball joint bolts. What grade?

    I over tightened the ball joint bolts that fasten the ball joint to the UCA and snapped one. I was thinking of replacing them with stainless steel but maybe that’s a bad idea? Should these be grade 5? I forget how to read the lines on the bolt head. There are three lines.

    Thanks.

    Yes, I have JBA UCAs, which use GM ball joints. They bolt to the arm with 4 bolts and I twisted one in half before checking the torque spec which is 20 ft/lbs.
