I did my T100’s first oil change. Way sooner than it “should” be done. Just cause. :notsure:

I pumped my own fuel for over 40 years starting in California as a teenager and then for the rest of those years on the job for work vehicles at my workplace or at private card lock stations in Oregon.

Usually one would just set the gas cap on top of the pump, on the tire, inside the gas hole cubby or let it hang from a tether.

My fuel pumping days are over as I’m now retired and Oregon has gas station attendants at all times at the public stations in most larger cities and towns.

It’s always funny to see the gas station attendants spend a few moments trying to figure out what to do with the gas cap.

So far, only one attendant in 7 months with the Tacoma has used the tether resting on the inside edge of the door.

One time an attendant carefully spent several seconds adjusting the cap to rest on the dirty fender flare so as to not get dirt on the inside of the cap.

The rest have just placed the tether on the door clip.

I decided to get the Gasshole just for the heck of it, and maybe get a station attendant to smile.

Yes, because 2018s have a fastener on the passenger side. 2017 doesn’t.
