I did 140 miles through the Mojave desert recently. After cleaning my K&N air intake filter, and needing to replace my cabin filter, the first thing I got after that was the UNI Filter UP-107.

3of the 4 came out with the twist of a screw driver. Did the job with the rack in the truck. The 4th one I got lucky in a way. It was seized to the point that the lip sheered off the bushing and the rubber insert came out leaving the collar behind. I just welded the top shit and hammered a punch through to get it out.
The rack bushings took me maybe an hour?

Side note today I installed the tie strap to make my steering shaft stop clunking. Jesus christ I wish I knew that's all I had to do. Toyota changed the shaft twice under warranty. After it ran out I left it.

Still have to get my new brake setup in, but, in the meantime I painted my lower control arms to match the toytec coils and my calipers. As much as I run this thing through everything I still like to add some cosmetic touches. 20180401_142037.jpg

Installed some bumpersheelz in gloss black. I’m pretty stoked to get rid of the chrome bumper
