Looks beefy, the crossbar will fail before that piece does.

Saw that guy out the other day in about the same spot. I had to do a double take. It was slick looking.

Those are some good looking MIG welds. What welder are you using?

New to the Toyota world, but not off roading. I was always a z-71 guy until recently. Hoping to meet up with some people and see what this truck is capable of.

I just hit Uwharrie Sunday solo in the new Taco with 2400 Miles. The big Jeep Jamboree is this weekend so will be crowded. I just did falls and wolf since alone and full stock. I was told part of Rocky Mountain was closed because they found an Indian cemetery or part of a village. I believe I saw where a new trail may be in process? I am meeting up with some friends on the 28th. Until I get a few upgrades will just be doing the easier trails..

That would be Kodak Rock, technically it is part of Rocky Mtn loop but the loop is now just larger around to Sawmill. The section of 92 here

My Z was a beast. I have complete faith in my Tacoma.

The Uwharrie trails...will I be ok as a stock truck getting through everything? I can't wait to add some ground clearance items to the truck but I'm stuck as is for a little while until funds open up.

    I've got the 2018 OffRoad 4x4.

Will need sliders / skids maybe bumpers for “everything”. Check SOS concepts when you start looking. 10% off code Jimbo

You will be fine. I did Rocky Mountain loop when my truck was bone stock, then Dutch John and backside of Daniel with just 33's.

Never been on Dickey Bell, but seen stock 3rd gen 4Runner's do it.

I did Rocky Mountain Loop, Saw Mills, Wolf, and Falls in a stock Sport with just tires and no other upgrades. You should be ok stock on those in the off-road which I just upgraded to. Anything else then will need to probably upgrade!
