Agreed, but to be honest. I wish I’d have thought about it first as I bet it would actually sell.

Haha might have to look a bit harder at all the jku’s when I’m driving through chesterfield. No doubt in in my mind this would sell.

Might be interested in the LCA. My ball joints are starting to go I think.

The LCAs are in good shape but I did see a little grease come from the boot. That's why I upgraded. No factory ball joint but plenty of aftermarket options.

    I know I would.

LCA’s are replaced, I feel that I’ve missed something since we last spoke.

Anyone here mount their RTT to the top of their cap? I'm looking at reinforcing it, but need ideas on how to.

Maybe mount the tent directly to the cap and create a support underneath to the bed support system on the sides?

Something we can do on mod day

The truck has been down for a little bit. I completely stripped the front end down, reinforcing welds on the alignment cam tabs, welded spindle gussets, welded coil bucket gussets, TC LCA, SS front brake lines, and the larger Lexus rotor/caliper combo. The Ciol bucket gussets were a huge pain. First they sent me the wrong ones and wanted me to buy the replacements with a $5 discount. Ha ha! NO! After going back and forth, they finally shipped it out for free. There is very limited room to weld and that was challenging. Painting was even more if a PITA. You can't see the back sides of the gussets let alone get them. Spray painting blindly and checking the results with a tiny ass mirror. No fun. Overspray all over hoses and lines. Definitely not my best work but its solid and it's done.
20180319_132024.jpg 20180331_175443.jpg I was really happy with how all the welds turned out. (Minus the coil bucket) I've been practicing getting ready for this project. On the down side... the truck barely fits in the garage and can squeeze through between the wall and the bumper. Long bed problems. Unfortunately... I have some really bad scratches on the bumper going back and forth. I was trying to be careful but my pants must have scraped it a couple times.

Oh... replaced the hubs too. That JerseyHubs guy on TW is not a very ethical businessman. What a huge pain that experience was. I ended up finding another set.

I thought out of the two major guys he was the better option. Liking the changes to the truck though.
