What brand is that sound deadening. Does it improve ride noise?

    i
it is nioco. I got it off Amazon. it is the heavy 80 mil stuff. I would assume it would help with road noise but I haven't even drove my truck since I installed it so I'm not sure. I would think without doing the entire floor it would not eliminate any large portion of road noise but will update back when I get the truck out on the highway

it did make a huge difference when I would bang on the outside of the door panel on the ones that were done vs the bare ones. eliminated alot of vibrations and that hollow sound in the doors

Were you able to keep the sensor in the grille for the safety sense?

absolutely! it mounts rights up. just had to order the grille garnish for the cutout. runs another 60 or so bucks. all works the same as before. I did lift three inches and then it dropped about 3 inches with the grille so it kinda averaged out but it will work regardless of if you lift or not!

Nice thread and truck looks good! I live in the Tacoma capital of the Appalachians where every other truck is a Tacoma. The other trucks are full size GMC's lifted 6" and running 24's lol. Anyway, there were several gray trucks exactly like mine and have every conceivable wheel combination. I picked my wheels (4Runner) just to make mine different than all the rest. Nobody is running my wheels around here so I am a bit unique.

I know your pain. I still haven't decided on what I want to achieve with wheels and tires. I've narrowed it down to 265/75r16s on factory wheels with spacers, or 285/70r17 wildpeaks in the passenger rating on series 41 pro comp wheels. decisions decisions

well I added a few small things this week. 1.25" wheel spacers for one. wanted to see what it looked like with these compared to aftermarket wheels. think i decided to stick with stock wheels and spacers and run a 265/75 tire. 20180404_201820.jpg

also got some amber covers for my side shooter lights. the lights are cali raised and they said they didn't offer any, so ordered these rigid ones off Amazon. they didn't quite fit to clip on, but with quick work of the dremel they snapped right on!

well got the cali raised Amber led fog lighy kit in and installed today. looks good and super easy install. the brackets are simple, and not real sturdy but the will be fine. 20180409_171542.jpg 20180409_211016.jpg 20180409_203745.jpg
