    Mine started with a big green blob in the middle. Well out of warranty, I called Sony and they made it all better with a great flat screen at a reduced price. They offered a 1500 buck model for less than 500 shipped.

    Maybe try and see what happens?

    Samsung took care of me with my other big screen when it shit the bed a week after warranty. But this one was my fault. I can't try to get a warrant for something I did. Oh well, I got 4 plus years out of it. A new one of similar quality is half the price now.
