The parts house CVs are no good for offroading, I have snapped them with very little force on them. If you can find OEM that is the best in my opinion.

 

That depends, if you don't mind replacing them over and over.

Practice makes you quicker at changing them.

 

There is a huge difference in the amount of strain you put on the CVs when the front is locked vs open. When the front is locked and you force a tire to spin that is wedged under a rock that would otherwise not move in an open diff, the CV is gone.

The parts store CVs will be more than fine for you to use until you lock your front diff.

The shitty dealership I bought my T4R from was suppose to ship me the replacement speakers the previous owner had bought but after about 40 calls I realized they were full of shit and were never going to. But they said, "we went ahead and put in some good speakers for you" just to pacify me so I would buy it. Turns out, those "good speakers" were mother effin Dual brand! The cheapest pieces of shit Walmart has. So the sound quality now from what it was is just incredible. I actually have 8" mid bass speakers in my front doors now along with a competition 8 kicker sub in the back...I actually have bass! Still have a little tweakin and tuning to do to get it right along with adding a shit ton more sound deadening to the back since the sub beats like a mofo. Overall the sound is awesome! We need a mod day as soon as you get back stateside for sure!

 

The good news is I’ll go ahead and do that ECGS bearing install.

What kinda special tool do I need?

Buy the tool from ecgs I think it’s like $150 then you can rent it to others hah hah.....
