E rated. I like them a lot, have a good grip on dry, wet and hot pavement. Not sure if good for off-road or rock climbing since the side wall is tough but for street use are very good. I like to feel the road and not to run on pillows.

My wife's new car has Android Auto I decided that I could not go without it in my truck. So I had the head unit swapped out for this. I am still getting used to it so I will hold off on the review. This unit also runs the front camera anytime which is pretty cool I used the iNewcow from Amazon. 20180401_195138_wm.jpg

    Added new LED reverse lights.

iBrightstar Newest 9-30V Super Bright Low Power T15 912 W16W 921 LED Bulbs with Projector replacement for Back Up Reverse Lights, Xenon White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074RFY776/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_KuCWAbAN8WJRD

In a nutshell, for the $16 bucks I spent I'm completely satisfied!

    Crazy bright from behind!

I shot these next two photos because when I back up to the garage the OEM bulbs were weak and the LED garage floods (2 ea, from Costco) would cause a lot of glare in the rearview camera and it was almost impossible to see clearly until I was nearly under them. Not the case now.

    And again, closer.

    No more washed out image!

Then I took a couple of pics on the pitch black lane that runs up into the woods

Then this one is the same location but I moved farther towards the front of the truck so you can see the peripheral spread better.

Here's another one up near the house

    And the other side too

I mean these are crazy bright and the light is so clean!

Hard to tell it's night except for when you look past the house edges!

LOL $16 bucks! Crazy! These are so nice I'm putting them in my Lexus reverse lights too.

    Here's how I did mine;
    Drilled holes where the stand offs are;
    Then used anchor self-tapping
Bolts(with washers and silicone) through the box and into the cross bars of the roof rack
    [IMG]

They aren't going anywhere. You would have to open the cases(which are locked) and remove the bolts from the inside if you wanted to take the cases off

So....smoother shifting....overall better running truck after the OVTune.

What's been the impact to your mpg ?

    Your truck looks great.

So...you are having rubbing with the 265/75/16's ???

I'm a bit concerned....have some mud tires of that size ordered for my truck.

Adding E-Rated tires this week. I don't do much driving over rocky terrain.....just mud, timber and some of the slickest-slippery clay on the planet, lol.

I'm figuring these will be overkill for what I need....but they look good. :)

    Excellent results.

I recently replaced my reverse lights, too. Also went with a powerful LED bulb.

I am very happy with the improved visibility. The periphery brightness is super with mine.....but, your's is even better. Sure does help when you are turning while backing up.

Prior to the bulb swap I was talking to a local shop about installing some Rigid Ignites in my bumper. Not a cheap option....I'm glad the simple bulb swap worked to my satisfaction.

I'm sorta wondering now about doing a bulb swap for the bed light, too.

Yeah minor rubbing in the front and rear on the plastics. Need to Dremel out the rear plastic just a bit. The front just did the old heat gun trick, it eliminated most of the rubbing. If I went 285, I would probably need to do the cab chop. I'm running at stock hieght.

Yea, I am in for under $250 (Morimotos, Hikari's in the lows, highs, and license, and then these reverse) and I am completely satisfied. How the truck should come from the factory. The third brake light looks LED to me, it is white. And to get to ours you have to drop the headliner a little so I am good to go with mine. Unless one day I want to do the Meso mod. LOL

    Dang.

I was thinking I'd have plenty of clearance going with 265/75/16. :fingerscrossed:

Are you getting this rubbing during normal driving or when offroad ?

I wonder if our wheel flare covers are the same dimensions ?

Now that you mention it....the bed light does appear to be LED. I'm not fooling with any headliner stuff. I'd likely screw it up. o_O

I may do something different back there....a bed rail mounted pair of pods or some such. Sure will be helpful for hunting and fishing.

I would like more output with my high beams. How have you liked yours after running them for a while ?

Yea, they look grippy for sure. Just never seen them before. Wonder how they wear. I prefer to feel the road too. I prefer E rated tires, especially for towing.

You could always do that under the rail waterproof bed light mod. That mod gets rave reviews. That will light up the entire bed area and then some. I drove home with them the first night I installed them. Love em, no regrets at all. They are a vast improvement over the OEMs in terms of color and brightness. At least to me.
