That is the downside of using 2nd/3rd gen wheels on 1st gen trucks. I think the offset on those rims is +25mm. The factory 1st gen alloys are +15mm. So, with a 265/70-16 on there, you are 10mm closer to your suspension. Not a big deal until you increase the tire size. You could run a 1/4" spacer to get it a little closer to factory spec. I was running a 2nd gen steel rim (+32mm offset) and had to run a 1.5" spacer to keep the 285/75-16 tire off my frame. Still have to deal with the pinch weld, but otherwise things clear pretty well.

I use to get an idea of where my wheel will sit in relation to the suspension.

It's so pointless and stupid that it has kind of a 'wow' factor to it... if that makes any sense. It's like when you see someone put a fiberglass Ferrari body kit on a Ford Focus. Yeah, it's pretty cool but it's still a Ford Focus.

I totally would if it wasn't too damn expensive... it's cool but $800 is too much for a novelty that would quickly wear off.

You can get it at home depot or ace hardware. They don't ban grease here...yet. You can try the harbor freight super lube too. Works damn good on guns and things

There's this website that puts Lamborghini bodies on Honda Civics... I have to find the link. It's hilarious. I think it costs like $35k on the base model Civic with the body kit.

Haha I found it, it's actually a Lamborghini Aventador on a tube chassis with a TOYOTA CAMRY engine. Only $20,000!

It's actually really well done for $20,000...

I still couldn't do it. Cars with incorrect badging bother me enough, kit cars are even worse lol. Only one I've seen and thought was badass was an old 1960s GT40 kit car with a volvo motor, thought it was cool since it was a single fiberglass shell and from the 60s

Swapped my 2nd gen steel rims for one of my favorite Toyota rims.

Also put in a new light to replace the factory cap interior light. Had to modify the housing to relocate the switch.

    Roughed in the hole.

    Turned out great.

This is the light I used. Marketed as a reverse light. Seems pretty solid. All-metal, sealed housing would work in wet locations.

Do what speedy tech said. I sprayed the shit out of my door switch and now it works like a charm. The light and the bell reminding me the headlights are on never came on, but now they do. If that doesn't work, you can always just replace that switch.

Oil, oil filter, fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, timing kit, idler air control gasket, oil drain plug gaskets. All labled for the mechanic just wanted to be sure he knew what was what mostly gaskets and belts. Now waiting on stuff from low range.
