Also, any ideas on these 2 stupid bolts? How to get them loose?

 

Allen heads just filled with blue loctite. Use a knife to clean it out. m10 allen head i think.

 

Do you have any idea if I have the right part? Or if a place like autozone will have one?

No good junk yards around here...

 

You can get new lock sets from AutoZone and Napa, I don't know if OEM would be better or not. I can tell you it is a pain to have one key for doors and one for ignition.

But is it the ignition or the switch you're having issue with

 

Dealer should be able to re key it.

 

Key cylinder works fine,it’s the piece behind it.

There isn’t a place for an Alan wrench either, solid metal under blue paint.

First world problems... have a 4WD truck but nowhere within a 45 minute drive to test it.

 

You could always go crawl a canal, there a couple around here I'm not ashamed to admit I've used to test things haha. Gonna need that suspension soon.

I have to drive at least 45 mins myself to get to the nearest trail so I don't see what the problem is.

 

30mins for me. like...4 for the nearest dirt road to nowhere though.

 

Anyone use the powered subs under a seat? I bought an

$330 Alpine PWE-S8 120W Compact Powered 8" Car Subwoofer for Under or Behind The Seat

Alpine PWE-S8 and I keep debating about putting it in the daily driver Honda CRV or my SAS Tacoma...

 

I use a three channel amp, its perfect for the truck. I get 50W each for the doors (Class A+B) and 500W for the sub (Class D). You can still find them for a deal online too, JBL GTO-3EZ

 

Same, when my truck starts anyway...

 

Yeah, it sucks since our trucks only have 2 speakers stock. I bought some 4Runner sail panels with tweeters so I can have some high end, thought the little sub would be perfect to fill out the low end. Maybe even upgrade the woofers while I'm at it.

 

Traffic though haha

A 45 minute drive turns into a one and a half hour drive. I'll probably make it up to the local SVRA when I get the armor done.
