what lenses are you using?
what kind of lighting for the night shots?
(if you can kind of gimme a ballpark) what settings were you using?
and how do you get the photos of moving vehicles so crisp?
and any tips for HDR?

what lenses are you using?I am using just the kit lens that I pieced with my D40 (18-55mm)
what kind of lighting for the night shots?I am just using either natural light or nearby light poles and such. But a polarizer helps with the harsh lighting on the cars.
(if you can kind of gimme a ballpark) what settings were you using?I can't give you settings. You will have to come up with them. If you ever shoot in auto, pay close attention to the settings. I do not recommend going higher than an ISO of 400.
and how do you get the photos of moving vehicles so crisp?A STEADY set of hands.

one more question. what kind of post production go into your non HDR photos? like the ones above

 

I just use Photoshop. I bring them in and do some color correction, brighten up some areas, and apply the vignetting.
