Yeah, as in 2016 football season's game. Gotta find a way to make it interesting.

Lol I barely keep up with it tho. NFL is garb compared to college football and basketball (I hate NBA btw). I used to keep up with the hawks but with all the political bs and players thinking they are God’s gift to the world I’ve lost interest for the most part. Shit I watched the Super Bowl this year just for the commercials :notsure:

The intricacies involved in most UFC/MMA is much more complex than the neanderthal mindset of going in to a ring and beating someone's brains out. If you have never tried organized wrestling, boxing or jiu-jitsu, I could see where you wouldn't be able to understand that strategy and mental toughness that's required. I am not saying you haven't, but I would be surprised if you made that statement and you had. Unfortunately, most UFC/MMA fans and viewers have not had organized "fighting" experience, so you get an arena filled with drunks wearing Tapout tees.

I still love football. The political BS is coming from outside the NFL more than in it with some things.

I hate the hawks. But I’m a Sherman fan.

Hubby is unfortunately a hawks fan. I am a die hard Packers fan (duh). Needless to say we don’t stay in the same house when our teams play eachother.

I watched the Superbowl to watch Brady get his ass kicked! HAHAHA!
    Commercials sucked this year.

Palabra holmes. I worked my way up to a 385 sumo then I dropped backed down and did 3 sets of 3 at 325. I'll be doing more upper back work and probably more leg press so I can use that queue to push the floor. I know my form feels perfect at 225-285 then it starts to break down a little at 3 plates. I'm going to do more volume work at 315 or 285 for a few weeks and then try again and see if my form stays tight at higher weight. I need to work more on RDLs. Do you throw those in on leg day? Or DL day? I haven't gotten the hang of them yet, I usually do hip thrusts and squats same day.

Also tried fighting a lawn tiller today on some hard soil. So another back workout and grip workout too. It was pretty fun. Might come over to my in laws house and maybe do some more of that.

I went to that game btw... my first college game. It was good... until the 4th quarter.

Did you know they don’t sell beer at college games? At least not this one.

I used to do RDLs as my DL. Did them on Wendler for like 6 months. Can’t remember what I maxed out at but got over 250.

I now only throw them in my leg days every now and then. I do them and lunges for hanstrings. Since tearing one of my ham tendons I don’t do any heavy isolated hamstring work anymore.

There is a lot wrong with it. But that's ok. At least he isn't a Patriots fan. Some things are unforgivable.

Had a good leg workout today. Hit squats for 315x10, 335x8, 365x6, 385x4, and 405x4.

Wasn't planning on that last set but was feeling good and said fuck it. Gunna be sad seeing the strength go down for summer.

Nice. I did squats yesterday. There were bros like 5 or 6 of them all at the squat rack doing their sets. No warm up, just a little stretching like Homer Simpson, and bam go to 135 and jumped to 225 which was i think the heaviest. After I was warmed up on the bicycle for 5 mins, I decided to do front squats, started with the bar, threw 25s on there, then jumped to 135, then did 185 for like 5, saw the bros doing 225 quarter prepping that back squat, so I threw 225 and did 3 sets of 3 of front squats lol. Then backed down to 185, did high bar back squats ATG with a 5 sec pause at the bottom. I bet none of those bros could do that. They never went higher than 225 and they were struggling to do a set of 5.

Deadlifts today. Because I'm interested in a future power lifting meet.

Get with a coach and actually go through a meet prep and some serious programming leading up to it.

What do you weigh and what’re your maxes?
