    OK. So in the last 2 years the GF and me spent some money on brew kettles. We split on an 10G Anvil, then I bought a 22G Brewbuilt for 10G batches. There were times when we both wanted to make 5G batches. That left someone using a crappy Italian thin bottomed brew kettle (for wine originally maybe) or her 7G pot. So she said she wanted to buy me out. So I looked around and got what I wanted. The new, the awesome 10G SS Pimping BME brew kettle!

    Cleaned an assembled, not passivated yet (citric acid wash treatment to increase anti corrosive ability of the stainless steel).

    The whirlpool T, adapter fittings, I will recirc with this. I also ordered a bunch of QDs so we can utilize a march pump or 2 for fluid transfer, etc.

    That tube is movable dip tube. This kettle comes with a rounded bottom, for trub collection, then you can loosen the valve clamp and rotate the valve to move the dip tube above the trub level as needed.

    Having a growler of Denali Brewing Abaddon for tonight. A nice, light Belgain Golden Strong with a good balanced flavor. Definitely doesn’t taste like it’s a 10% beer.
