Besides ruining people's lives, I wonder what the members of the board for CARB do for fun?

Funny part about CARB, it is something that is purchased. In order to sell aftermarket parts in CA that are compliant, you pay for a CARB sticker for your product.

It's literally, another tax hidden behind well wishes

Welcome to the wonderful world of tuning :annoyed: anyway does anyone know why the LTFT would be high idling it’s 24% and i moves around while driving but the STFT stays at zero mostly. Isn’t that the opposite of what it’s supposed to do ?

Do you mean wishes that have a positive intent, or wishes that come from a hole in the ground water is drawn from and pennies are typically thrown in?

I think they have pension plans, full health benefits, 8 weeks paid vacation, and casual Fridays. I bet someone who works for CARB has a fully done up race car without cats running on e85 and plated.

    A thing or two...
If the ECU has trimmed the fuel table to what it likes with the LTFT, the STFT will be at zero. With a LTFT of 24%, the ECU is adding in 24% fuel over the base map, so you need to add fuel with your tuner at that load/RPM. The LTFT will then trend toward zero. LTFT changes aren't instantaneous, so I'd suggest adding 12-18% fuel at that load/RPM and see where the LTFT and STFT end up at. You can keep adjusting from there.

Ok good it’s just the basic tuning thank you. After it’s running better I’ll let everyone know.

Trying to tune your pinks is a good way to first get the hang of it. Once you feel comfortable you can throw in the 440s after.

You guys running catch cans? I'm reading about recirculating a can, so no need to empty it. Any suggestions where to do that?

I've got a catch can on my truck. I don't know about recirculating it, but feeding it in to the turbo oil drain return would make sense if your can is mounted on the passenger side.

I stripped the threads on the drain plug of mine so i never have to empty it:anonymous:.
On kind of a similar note, i changed my oil yesterday and when i unscrewed my filter there was no oil that drained out of it. Could it drain into my turbo feed line and thats why there wasnt any in it, or have i went several thousand miles bypassing my filter...
