First thought: You should have used the money on a first gen Tacoma and started her off in the right direction!
Second thought: Or... safety. Corolla is a good call.

Installation complete. Cable works just like OEM now. This should deter about 99% of criminals. I mean who drives around with a torx set.... Well I do, and I bet a very large part of TW does too Hahahaha but you all are not here for tailgates.

Looks good. Was it difficult to get it smooth? I have the material. Just waiting on the time to do it. How long did it take you for all four?

Yea we live enough corn fields away from the trouble, and I work in a safe area. There’s guys with jeeps that leave them open in the summer in the parking lot.... BUT, every once in a while the wifey makes me go to the big city. Haha

it took about 20 per door, I used a little hook tool to remove the old material, and a flat blade screwdriver to push it into the groove, the first time I did the fronts, I used some cheap contact glue and it started to come off after about 3 days, I went with some 3m contact adhesive and haven't looked back since.

Had the day off so I decided to finish up some projects and get some stuff done. Baja Designs Squadron Sports installed, DIY Bussmann RTMR installed, and I did a much needed wash inside and out today.

(Also did a dash mounted hula girl install)

Had one hell of a time getting that plate installed so I had to do some cutting. Might end up switching to a different plate that's designed with the mounting holes up top for easier access.
