My first was a 1987 Buick Skylark with 127k miles. I put another 100k on it before it died on the side of the highway.... where I left it. Someone called me and offered my 2500 for it as is so i took it lol

Of course the ones you sold were in wonderful condition. Lol

I think I just had horrible luck with cars. Cousin made my mom buy the Crown Vic after my mom crashed it and the car was uninsured. Our roads were unpaved back then so I would drive it from the house to my bus stop and literally hide it under some bushes. That Crown Vic had a leaky roof because of all the old police antenna holes. That car was my first experience off road when I managed to find myself in a muddy field 3 different times. Did get it unstuck alone 2/3. That's how the transmission began misbehaving. User Error.

My first one was an 80, and it was a dog. I got knocked into the side of a k rail on 35 and then bought the shell of the 79. Spent the good part of a year on the resto. Damn that car was fun and dangerous as hell lol two 350s and a 305 later and it's a parts car somewhere now.

I'm partial to the early second gen split bumpers though

My first car was a 92 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with over 150K on it. It was a total shit box and ran so poorly it barely made it to my school and back. All the suspension was fucked so it sounded like the wheels were going to fall off when I was driving around. But...the AC blew cold as fuck so I kept it until I had proved to my parents I could care for a car and not beat it off every pole or other car around. Ended up in a 2000 Silverado after that and then just went through cars pretty steadily after that. 2000 Celica GT, 2010 Mazda 6, 2008 BMW 328i, 2008 BMW 135i, 2013 Hyundai Sonata, 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and then the two I have now and plan to keep the 2012 Cadillac CTS-V and 2011 Toyota 4runner.

Yeah CTS-V is definitely a head turner for me. I would LOVE one but I'd probably wrap it around a pole. I'll stick to slow....

Mine was a single cab V6 base model AF. Manual windows and locks and all that jazz. I still loved it though because I could finally travel and so it meant freedom to me.

They have a lot of things to keep you on the road. The main issue is when people don't learn the car before just romping on it. I drove the car a year and waited out the warranty before nodding it so I knew what every little twitch meant it was going to do. Then once the build was done I relearned it all. Now I throw it into corners and watch people flip thinking this big loud sedan is going to roll but it just eats it up and asks for more.
