Durped the grille and replaced my screen. Also received my @Mr.PowerTrays Bussmann power tray to tidy up my wiring under the hood. :D Will have to wait a little to install it though but the tray looks great!

These little Weber chimneys really speed up the process.

Doesn't take coals long to get to inferno status.

Nothing more relaxing than kicking back with some good tunes on and something tasty cooking on the grill.

With my last charcoal grill, I made a chimney like that out of a big coffee can. They do get things going without lighter fluid, which is a huge bonus.

I keep thinking about a Weber kettle though.

    That sounds interesting.

Would really like to see nighttime pics or vids of it in action.

I've got a couple of the Weber chimneys....a big 'un and a smaller version, which I use way more often.

    Big'un:

Basic grill, smoker and etc. It's the American kamado grill. Every household should have one. Lightweight & portable and highly versatile for grilling, searing or slow rolling a smoke.

Local Walmarts discount them like crazy in the off-season which I find odd......every day off is grilling season around my house.

Didn't do much to the Taco today besides admire how little chrome I have left on it (headlights/foglights), and measure the lift 3 weeks after getting it lifted to check for settling. So far so good- I am rocking a little over 2" up front and 2" in the rear on top of the stock lift. I'm sure going from 265's to 285's helped. The coil/strut combo was suppose to give me 2" and it has stayed true to that so I'm a happy camper! We will see how much the front drops after adding an aluminum skid plate. Ironically my truck didn't lower after adding sliders. These suckers weigh about 65lbs each! Love my F'n truck!! This thing delivers on the road and in the mountains!

Im actually looking at getting something bigger. Like the ease of propane but most everyone recommends charcoal.

    Impressive.

Ill look at some Webers. Thanks.

    Ill check them out, thanks!

And the 2nd and 3rd gen "Tacoma" formed from where?

There's always one person who doesn't get the joke. Yesterday was April Fools Day. But if you wanna open a can of worms, here's the facts:

    Width
    1st Gen Tacoma : 70.3″
    1st Gen T100 : 75.2"
    2nd Gen "Tacoma" : 74.7"
    3rd Gen "Tacoma" : 75.2"
    1st Gen Tundra : 79.3"

    Length
    1st Gen Tacoma AC/DC : 202.9″
    1st Gen T100 RCLB/AC : 209.1"
    2nd Gen "Tacoma" AC/DCSB : 208.1"
    3rd Gen "Tacoma" AC/DCSB : 212.3"
    1st Gen Tundra : 218.3 to 230.1″

    Curb Weight
    1st Gen Tacoma : 2,750 to 3,705 lbs
    1st gen T100 : 3,320 to 4,040 lbs
    2nd Gen "Tacoma" : 3,550 to 4,220 lbs
    3rd Gen "Tacoma" : 3,980 to 4,480 lbs
    1st Gen Tundra : 3,935 to 5,020 lbs

Now you can be a sheeple and listen to what Wikipedia has to say, which is a source that isn't always correct (you can't even cite it in an essay) or you can review the data to see the obvious. Which is the 2nd gen and 3rd gen are in reality T100s, Toyota only used the Tacoma name plate for marketing.

Sounds like a RecTec pellet grill is exactly what you want, then.

The ease of a gas grill.....truly set it and forget it on long smokes like ribs and brisket. Hardwood smoke flavor that can’t be improved upon.

Props to you for spotting that:thumbsup:
I'm OCD About cable management so when I fabricated my rack I welded in 1/2"X 1/2" square tube for all the wires to get routed down. Helps hide them, but more important they can't get easily snagged when loading/removing stuff from the roof. Here's a better angle
