God, I don’t think I’ve paid to camp in at least 10 years. (Outside of the thousands of dollars spent on camping related things lol)

Kills me to pay someone to sleep in my own dirt.

This land is your land, this land is my land...

Have not been there in about 18 years. But it is a nice location right next to the Russian river.

I helped a dude with a new mustang that was stuck in the wet sand near the water at Pismo. :smack: I don't try to explain why he brought a new mustang there. People were just sitting there watching him dig out the wheels and some older tundra on shitty tires trying to pull him out with a tie down and yes another :smack:. Pulled out the maxsa's and he was out in about 20 mins after I had him digging in the sand and placing them.

    Oh man...that's a shit show.

We tried Max Traxx on this F350 full of tarps. The fucker was buried up to the rear axle and frame. All it did was bury the Max Traxx in 2 feet of soft ball size river rocks. A snatch strap got them out in no time. I think we should have started with the Max Traxx + snatch strap...woulda been a lot easier and faster.

About 20 minutes later a Nissan Armada got stuck. We contemplated just leaving them there but decided to be nice and pull them out as well.

Yeah, I think it depends on the situation on what recovery tool is need or what combination is needed. good to hear you helped the second person out. its hard for me to drive away, I would hate to get stuck and watch someone drive away on me.

We were camping right there too.

The reason why we considered leaving them there is this was the Baja 1000 course. The nissan was in the middle of the course. The motos could go around but the trucks would have been forced to do a water crossing. We were thinking if we left the nissan on the rock bridge the race would be way more entertaining.

Oh yeah, we made torches with gasoline and pajamas we found along the river. It was like Mad Max. Fucking amazing.

Well, as I mentioned earlier in the week, we went poking around New Idria and Clear Creek this past weekend, got me some of that nice asbestos in me lungs.
