The Jets have a really good shot at going a few rounds. Minnesota just became a lot weaker and LV is a big question mark.

If they get past the first round, which they should, they will likely get Nashville in the second. That will be as tough a series as it gets

I just watched the video of Karlsson picking up a game puck at the Ottawa game yesterday and taking it with him. He won't be wearing the same sweater next year. He's checked out and is loading the baggage.

 

Maybe losing the baby was a wake up call. That'd would take a lot out of someone.

Speaking of checked out. I get to go see the checked out Oilers play their final game of the season on Saturday. The wife's boss got a pair of tickets, and can't use them.

Yeah, like I said it either would make them stay or leave. Wives have a lot of say. Pronger was rumoured to of left Edmonton because his wife wanted out. I’m sure this is a possible situation with Karlsson though with different circumstances.

The local sports radio guys hit the nail on the head today. It’s pretty sad that the Sens are about to lose their most talented player and they likely won’t get the return he’s really worth because he’ll be in his last contract year. One has to wonder how that happens before a superstar hits 30. The Sens messed up. Best case scenario is that someone like Las Vegas trades for him and Bobby Ryan for a bunch of prospects and picks that Ottawa can use to rebuild again.
