Mine also sit fairly high up, but the fix to this is to get the SDHQ brackets or an extension to push the light cube further towards the pillar and out of the windshield line of sight.

I really like mine from Meso. Built right into the mirror so No brackets and very stealth. Not as bright as most but fit my needs. Only ditch light on.

Just ordered a caliraised wiring harness. I’m gonna make my own brackets out of scrap and hopefully get some used rigid industries pods for cheap.

When choosing your scrap metal make sure it is pretty thick or else the weight of the pod will make the bracket bounce and possibly rub on your hood.

Went with SDHQ myself, definitely pricey compared to the rest though. There beefy and solid, no vibes. I’m happy with’em.

Anyone gone thru an auto carwash without issues having bracket & light mounts? I use these on occasion when the carwash bays are full.

I went with a company that I have not seen listed on here. I decided that I like the look of the Off Camber Fabrications brackets made by MBRP for 3rd gens. They were fairly easy to install with minimal cutting required, but they fit like a dream and look absolutely awesome. I've been receiving many complements on them due to the thick gauge steel and cutout logo, and the profile is very forward. The 4th picture for the CBI brackets listed on the poll are actually not CBI brackets, but are actually these MBRP brackets. My biggest concern was visibility issues with the bulky nature of these, but was pleasantly surprised to find limited impacts on my line of sight. Also you can not see the bolt threads from the outside and it is extremely awkward to get a wrench behind it, so it *hopefully* deters theft to a degree. I Paid 60$ on eBay, which is the best price I could find. It comes powdercoated. Here's how they look with 3x3 OZ pods on my MGM 2016 SR.

@Leathermatt good catch on the CBI picture error. I will have to correct that on the op. I will also add the information for the manufacturer you've stated. Thanks for the input and write up.

One last question, even though I think I know the answer, is this hood hinge mounted or cowl?

These are hinge mounted, thanks for clarifying! I appreciate you starting up this thread for us, it's great to have all the options laid out!

Could there be a group buy in the near future? I’m going to buy some soon, but would like to save as much as I can. Possibly even a light/bracket package.

I checked your website and you got some great prices for combos. Only question would be what brand of lights are they and are they up to par with the big name brands? I am looking at the brackets, 27w side projecting pods, and harness for $135.
