Yes, exactly. I incorrectly stated 285/70 at the beginning of the post. My apologies for the confusion.

To clarify, 315/70 in first photo in the garage. Then tried but removed 295/70 but cleared a slight bit better than 285/75s I came home with. Went ahead and ordered 295/70s (slightly shorter but slightly wider). 285/70 is smallest of the three but 2" bigger than my stock 265/65s (on back of first photo in garage). It also clears no problem with no issues.

Did you try swapping the bigger spacers from the rear to the front and seeing if it would clear the larger tires then? A lot of guys are running larger tires on smaller lifts, so I think your offset might be killing you.

One thing I ain't doing- not interested in any kind of CMC chop. I'll roll with whatever fits because I just need to get through some occasional high water. Btw, thanks to @AustinNative, @Leo4x2 , @TacoTuesday91 , @ChadsPride , Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road , @SpruceTaco and a whole bunch of other guys that were very patient and forthcoming with my endless questions. I hope to pass it forward.

I did not... and I think you could be right. But since the Maxtracs kicked out the front .75" (mine measured closer to 1.25"???), if I put the 1.75" in front then I can't catch up in back. It's a little off now as it is but not noticeable. Definitely catch 22...

Not necessarily saying I recommend it, but there are companies making bigger spacers so you could get the rear to be even. I’ve never used a spacer that big, so I don’t know the pros and cons to it. But it’s an option to fit a bigger tire upfront.

If the 295/70s work like I hope they will, then I'll be good to go. Don't think I want to go down to a 285/70, so it's either the 295/70 or 285/75 that I have to make work. I'm thinking I have enough clearance with the 285/75 on there now, except in the most extreme full lock stuff, and not sure how or when that will ever even happen...

I’m sure it’ll look great either way, and you can always upgrade to different wheels in the future if you want bigger tires.

Also I found out Bora makes some pretty big spacers for our trucks, and everyone here seems to like them so there’s an option.

Make sure to post some pictures when it’s all done!

Oddly enough, I have BORA spacers front and back, 1.25" front and 1.75" back. :)

A follow-up to our conversation, I really wasn't expecting the 315s to rub at the cab mount because I have plenty of lift. Cleared the spindles by plenty but I left the .75" wheel spacers in there because I think the stance looks better. Wasn't expecting the 285/75s to be so close either!:annoyed:

In hindsight, my love of the stock TSS rims was my downfall... 20180402_172950.jpg
