Do you think this will work with a truck cap? Wondering if the back glass will hit it? Which light pod do you recommend? Going to use for camping and camp setup mostly.

    Thanks

It should still work. If your wanting some extra light around camp I would highly recommend our 18W 3x2 Pod. Its a great little light. Or even our 18W Slim work light if your looking for that extra flood.

@CaliRaisedLed its a great product. However if you offer one in powder coat and no powder coat that would be great. Also if you have two drill hole options to pick from. Reason is for people wanting to mount a CB antenna to it. Holes for CB mounting are supposed to be a 1/2 ID and I had to drill mine. Also for a good ground I had to grind off some of the powder coating. Great product though and it looks good on my truck! Just though you might like a little feedback! Thanks

Did you need to run a ground wire to the mount? I have the relentless fab mount now but had to run a ground wire to it, but now I need to move my CB outside of the bed, so this mount is perfect.

ETA - bought one, hopefully it can ship out today and get to me by the end of the week.

I didn’t run a ground wire but I grinded the powder coat off where it mounts to the cab and filed it off under the mount so the antenna touches steel. Also replaced the factory bolts with some M4 stainless steel bolts so it makes a ground to the truck. I also drilled the hole to a quarter inch because that’s what you need for the antenna. Reasons I did all this I had issues tuning the antenna and sending and receiving. So after a few phone calls and some research I think I woulda went with a non powder coated one if I could’ve and then painted what I wanted on it. Still trying to figure out some issues but the CB seems to work okay for now.
