So it looks like the part that goes in the wheel cylinder that your brake shoe goes in the fork. @Kemosabe

It was! Called my dad he came to see it, and as soon as he saw it he said it was from the cylinder, i put it back there. It is worn i guess because it fell in the drum and got crushed between two part...

Yes it is! It was supposed to be a tire change day and drum cleaning, turn out to be a find where I come from part lol also 2 springs fell off when I took the cover off, and when I reassemble everything the first time there was noise, had to open again, to find the piston part lol. Spent the whole day on the rear brakes. Should be fine tho. I also have a bearing to order, my front driver side is going bad. 2nd time since I own the truck. Passenger side is still good, 245 000km on the clock!

So it’s not as bad as you think on the 10mm wrench

I needed a line wrench so cut the box end so it would fit over the brake line.

    Also

This was one at work :) my 10mm is safe

Started to change plugs on the passenger side.

By the look of the bolt heads they may never have been removed.

They were seized in to the head, sprayed a little lube down and waited for it to work its way down into the treads. I also tried working the plug in and out as much as I could without doing damage.

The best truck to get them out is deep creap spray a bit down into the hole and run the motor through a few heat cycles, a week of driving and they come out like butter.

I gaped the plugs at .040 they are supposed to be .039 to .043. Anti seize on the thread of new plugs, dielectric grease on top of the plug, around the o ring and in the connector.

Also replaced the coil bolts with new

hahahaha I was sitting at 240 but then I put on like 2500kms on my trip up north! and on a side note, I may be replacing my antenna thing this summer at some point cuz I noticed some of that staining from under the rubber housing. are you going to be doing it also?

Nah I won't, i cleaned the stain on the clear coat by polishing it, then put a layer of wax. After I pulled the rubber from the antenna base, cleaned all the oxydation that was on it, covered it with grease and put the rubber back on. So far so good, no stains

Soooo remember the lower intermediate steering shaft u joint that I was told I had to replace by Toyota at $600, I refused said I would take the old one out to get rebuilt, And when they did the frame it was no longer a issue. Money grab cough cough

Well a good friend called me and said the garage he worked at just replaced one and the owner did not want to old one back.

I will Rebuild this one and document it here :)
