Mally is still financing her 4R, so I think I'll finance a camry/carolla in the next few months. I just started looking this morning to get an idea of what's out there. I think we'll stick to the 2010+ year models for a little grocery getter. I'd prefer a camry for comfort in case we need to travel a bit further with the updog, but Mally keeps telling me that a carolla will be fine.

    whats updog?

Yea, this Outback was CLEAN. Drove great, interior was spotless, outside was great but a simple paint correction would have made it amazing. Lots of room for trips if we wanted to go somewhere like Dallas or something. Already had a roof rack installed, had a non CVT transmission in it.

Best thing was less than 80k miles on it... for a 2009... we just couldn't swing it right then and didn't have what we wanted for a down payment on it as we wanted to finance a little bit of it to help with her credit.

    But maybe someday.

@desertjunkie760, when I get back from austrailia in the fall, I have to go to Torrance, CA for a week and do the Robinson safety course, I plan on trying to break some stuff while I am out that way.

I just checked shipping, the parts to hook up air tank won't be here till Saturday. So we will see but I may not have that plumbed. The bed is fully painted, gonna install it tomorrow. Any one know a good way to attach a light bar with square feet to a round roll bar?

I didn't know that stuff existed when I outfitted my bed rack, so I went to Lowe's and found some split ring hangers to use to mount my pods and quick fists

    Good morning!

How am I so far behind??? Y'all have been busy!! (ps - I haven't had Whataburger breakfast in FOREVER...I could really go for some right now!)

For the record - I'd love a Camry - I've owned 3 of them before - loved all of them...but I'm thinking if it's just a vehicle to get me to work and back to save some miles/wear on my 4Runner- then the less we spend, the better!

I realize that you'd be driving it all the time to work, but I'd be driving it everywhere else to also save miles/wear on the taco ;)

    I'd be happy with a 99 rolla.

Anything to keep the miles off my precious

I've never been to Anza so it would be cool to see. Camped in JT quite a bit with boy scouts.
Mornin, I dropped way behind as usual in my first 3 hrs at work. It's hard to keep up here.

Sausage and bacon! I usually just get sausage on the jalapeno biscuit. I'm gonna have to try that.

As far as gas savers, I am looking for an older toyota rav4. Room for 4 plus dog, fold rear seats and sleep, and still get over 30 mpg. Hard to find a manual transmission though.

Also a good choice! Not a big as a 4 runner, but still plenty of space for what you need to carry.

    I hadn't thought about a Rav 4. That's something to think about!

They even sell the new body styles with a manual....but good luck finding one. Most of the ones I saw were either in Colorado, Arizona, or California
