I'll have mine though I should probably get it mounted on the truck instead of sitting in the back floor board. I want another one also because I think a bigger one would be wise to have.

I'm conquering that guy this year, almost made it my first Jambo but managed to jam a rock between my tire and body mount. Let's see if a lot of upgrades and a but more patience makes it happen.

This... I bounce around the camps like a cheap hoe...

Coming from you it is like a whole nother level of peer pressure.

Just make sure they are Red White and Blue!

Is it bad that I also want to attempt at least one 5 rated trail this year... or like start it and just say nope.

Not at all. We’ll have plenty of recovery gear to drag you up or down as required.

This is why I can count on y'all...

Going to try and swing a winch before Jambo.

If not, I’m pretty sure you still have front and rear recovery points.

Which I guess it’s something else to point out for folks that haven’t been to Jambo before:

A lot of us have enough recovery gear to get you out of many situations, but it makes our lives easier if you have front and rear recovery points. For the rear, I have a hitch mounted shackle block. It was cheap and is safer than just a bolt through your hitch. For the front, a couple of vendors make a shackle mount that goes in place of the passenger side TRD tow hook. The driver side loop is not designed to be a recovery point.

    Here’s one example: https://www.bpfabricating.com/products/tacoma-recovery-tow-hook

Sure do! Got the two on the front bumper and the factor55 on the rear hitch.

Plus two soft shackles, kinetic rope, and a ARB strap!

My only warning with trying a 5 is to make sure you can get out using the bypass before going in it.

Even the bypass on a 5 can be hard. And something going down trails is easier than turning around and going back up so now you're at a point where you HAVE to make it up the 5 and sometimes that can get super sketchy.

So just wheel smart. I should be there in my taco and will gladly give a ride to anyone if they wanna go down a harder trail but don't have a vehicle to do it with lol.
