Jersey built took good care of me, but that was some time ago. The other guy burnt some people and disappeared, TacomaWorld slueths found his listing on the sex offender registry. I reckon he won’t ever be back.

I'm at Pur Performance right now. Let's see if they know how to do a better alignment than Firestone

I don't think so. He was supposed to be the better of the two options for hubs on TW. After three weeks after purchasing I email him to find an ETA. He responded 5 days later with "that should have shipped out already. What'sthe name on the order" Despite giving him my full name, date ordered and order number on the email. After that he went MIA for 3 weeks. Good times. I was not the only one. Then it was extremely poor business practices when I asked for a refund. Maybe he just went through a rough time. I try to be as nice as possible but this is my luck when it comes to ordering stuff.

Thanks! Once things dry up out here I'll be ready to test it all out on the trails.

They did alright. I requested 3 degrees of caster. He was able to get 2.6 degrees which is better than the 1.2 degrees Firestone could do. They are expensive though. They charge $100 labor per hour. Took them 1.5 hours to do the alignment

I am getting an alignment done out at Reichers tire and auto, out in Washington MO. They only charge $69.99 for the whole deal.

Alignment charged by the hour? Didn’t know that was a thing.

Screw that by the hour crap. I use firestone and their lifetime alignment service. The stores in Fairview Heights and at Scott AFB both have multiple people that know how to align and not just do what the machine tells them to.

Yeah none of the Firestone's here are that competent and I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell the technician exactly what I want

When I called firestone they told me they don’t offer lifetime alignments on lifted trucks.

Any experience with that? I wouldn’t mind the drive to Fairview if they did offer it.

They will also tell you they don't do custom alignments. Just keep calling local area Firestones until you find one that does. I found that the Creve Couer firestone would do it but the tech wasn't very good at doing the whole custom thing

The kid at the counter told me that too. Told him it wasn’t “lifted.” Explained to the clueless, glazed eyed drone that I have a “suspension upgrade.” He went to the shop, a minute or so later he walks past me with a tech to where the truck is and I get the high sign. In this area most trucks are in fact lifted with spacers and hockey pucks and pressure treated lumber. Any mainline shop worth their salt will refuse those lifts for the obvious reasons.

The one at Cave Springs and 70 will do lifetime alignment on lifted trucks. Their knowledge base is is ok but I talk them through what to do. I don't trust too many mechanics. They are ok with it too so it's a good deal for me.
