It was really good! I'd say like Diet with Orange more than Orange with Diet. But it's not overwhelming Orange.

And that's true, I love me some Captain and Coke.... You just gave me an awesome idea! LOL

Well, if you like to party with the Captain, please treat yourself and hang out with his Darker cousin, Captain Morgan Black! The caramel flavor is very intense and goes so well with any coke.

I think it is a little smoother and a little sweeter. Most of the time it is cheaper too. I buy whichever is on sale though, and always the 1.75l size! LOL

All my regulars are the 1.75l size though. Cuervo Tequila, Svedka Vodka, Captain Black Rum, Woodford Or Makers Bourbon. I like to switch it up all the time so those 4 are on the kitchen counter when it is convenient to get too. LOL Right next to my Blendtec and Vitamix blenders. Go big or go home.

Just picked up a 2018 DCSB Off Road about a week ago. I've been looking at Tacomas for years and finally made the plunge, loving it so far. Only have a picture from the dealership right now.

    Welcome to the forums!!!!

Definitely like the new '18 grills (compared to the previous stock grills). You going to keep it stock, black it out, or go with another one?

Haha, nice! Seeing as I have a 2 year old and another baby on the way, my liquor supply has diminished quite a bit. But any chance I get to enjoy a mixed drink, it's typically got Captain in it. Or, I've been on a big Moscow Mule kick lately.

I do have my own custom labeled and personally dipped bottle of Maker’s. This one will never be opened though lol.

I feel ya, don't want to be a improper Dad. At least while they are watching. LOL

If you like Mules, try this, 16oz. glass half filled with ice, 2 oz of your favorite bourbon (Woodford Reserve or Makers 46 is nice), 2 tbsp lime juice, fill cup with Goslings (or equivalent) Ginger Beer (Goslings has a diet that is very nice, other brands have more pepper flavor, depends on your taste). Stir.

I like the flavor profile of this. It's not sweet and not overbearing and very close to a Mule. I think you would like it. You can garnish with anything, an orange slice is good, or get fancy and add a piece of sugared ginger on a toothpick.

And since you like Captain, try mixing the Black with the Vanilla or Cherry Coke (Free). It's sweet as hell but great if you only have a couple. Of course you can get crazy and use the Black to make a Mojito Negra. Completely changes the drink but not for the worse. LOL.

Best mixed drinks I ever had were in New Orleans and Vegas. Those places make it an art. I don't get crazy like that at home but sometimes I want to. I like to incorporate fruit into my drinks, well, because if it has fruit then it is good for you. LOL

Dang! You sound like a former bartender! HAHA!

Those all sound good. I will definitely keep them in mind.

And of course, it's basically a fruit salad at that point!

That's Wild!!!!!!! I'd like to get one of those. I could put it right along side of the bottle of Tequila I have that we bought in Cancun the first time we went in 1990. They can around and took your photo and then put it on the label. That bottle is still sealed. I've been on a Mezcal kick too lately. This Makers though is super cool!

This past St. Patty's day we had some Mcallen and I thought it was all hype. $35 a shot. It was very nice. I'm a big Port wine drinker too. Tawney. Most people don't drink Port. Hell, I'll drink anything. Belgians are my favorite beers.

Yeah a couple years ago, me and a bunch of my friends went to Nashville for a buddy's bachelor party. On the drive down we stopped at the Maker's Mark distillery, took the tour and at the end got to dip our own bottles. Helped that one of the girls working the gift shop happened to be from our hometown, so she hooked us up with custom labels. It was pretty awesome.
