I have a pair of TC bed stiffeners and they don't interfere with the bed mat. The tie down locations are very convenient. If you happen to be in or around the Denver area check out @Toytec Lifts. They had them in stock when i bought mine.

Not the guy you quoted but I have the TC stiffeners as well. I will say I happy with them. After driving around town and a little bit off off-roading (somewhere in between fire roads and rock crawling), my tailgate was getting harder to close. Also, my shell was getting harder to open and close. I installed the stiffeners and at first everything was great. Then over a couple days I think they loosened just a little. I had to readjust my shell latch points and it's been smooth sailing ever since. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I got the bed mat later and it does not interfere too badly at all. I did not trim it when I installed and I have found no need to trim it since. You can see it sits on the stiffeners but it does not affect function or get in the way. Here's some pics. Oh, and btw, I absolutely love the bed mat. It might be the best thing I've bought for my truck from a money for function standpoint.

Thanks for the pictures! That's great to hear and I'm glad it doesn't interfere with the mat. I'm glad you're happy with the bed stiffeners too, that makes me more certain I'll be getting them!

It was hard to wait but I wanted to spend some quality time with my nephew riding Harley's on the Blue Ridge Pkwy and Dragon's Tail before he deploys for over a year in a few weeks. Also applied flags in support of our military. Have not driven the truck yet but I like the outcome.

    Too much.

The only drawback is you have all kinds of other covers (unless of course you can use them). I have left over SR5, 4x4 and the big T emblem cover (s) left over....
