Well I hope the damn weather cooperates this weekend in Gilmer and maybe just rain a little that morning to get the dust down...

    I didn't get a cabin for nothing!

Last time we went there when it was muddy as hell kinda sucked. We're talking about possibly getting a hotel in Gilmer instead of trying to camp in the gross stuff. That'll save a lot of room in the truck, but cost more $$$ and then we have to find a pet-friendly hotel.

I bet there is a pet friendly hotel there.

Christina was like they can stay in our cabin... but they have the dog with them so that can't work. :(

Hopefully it rains just enough to settle the dust, but too too much to where the trails are muddy and such as I am not a fan of cleaning barnwell mud lol.

The car wash in Gilmer is pretty useful though...

I wonder if Lux would sleep in the truck if we weren't' in there with her. I know at Jambo last year - she chilled in my 4Runner a LOT without me and was totally fine...but I've never tired over night.

I'm not a fan of wheeling in mud... as long as the rocks are dry I'll be happy.

Thankfully she hasn't been the kind to tear anything up - chew seats - etc. I've heard horror stories though so I'm always paranoid that this time might be different and she might flip out. Usually though, once she is in the vehicle - she is SO CHILL it's strange. Esp for such a needy dog - it surprises me every time how she is happy to just lay in the back seat and relax.

Only thing that worries me about yall hotelling throughout the weekend would be driving back there at night.

If she tears my shit up... we will be dog-less.

Gonna be in the 40s... dunno if you consider that to be cruel or not.

The main thing for me is to help @ETXTacoma get his front diff swapped and give @hoarder23 some beer. If I get to wheel, great. If not, then I think I'll manage to wait another month for Jambo. I've got some work to do on the truck before I seriously throw it at more rocks here soon.

Mhmmmmm possibly, but not sure if yall would want to sleep in the same room as a 3 month old lol.

Same here... as long as the rocks are pretty dry then that will be a good test of the truck.

Word! I would like to at least get some wheeling in... I already spent the money on the bunkhouse, so may as well go for the night... will play it by ear on the weather.

    yes... yes it will.
