Might as well update a little. Been super lazy with taking pictures so bare with me.

I recently got a new job so my TW time has drastically decreased. But it's more pay so I'll be able to get the truck where I want it this year faster. It'll also let me get the coveted DD mod put on the list. Still up in the air about what I want, don't really care about gas mileage right now as anything is better than what I'm getting now. Just want something that's a faster and more fun to drive on the highway. Gotta be manual of course! Not in sit and go traffic anymore :D

Anyways on to the truck, so I ordered a Prinsu TopRac and got it PC'd and installed it. Ran into some issues with the Thule rack so I had to flip the mounts but it seems to be working so far. I threw up the awning on it the other day

I then went skiing for a weekend and came home to find my truck puking oil from the passenger side seal that I've been avoiding for so long. So my buddy let me borrow his Golf until I could get it fixed. Getting it fixed this weekend (3/3/18) hopefully, I have the truck torn apart just needing to get the axle taken apart.

So while the truck sat I figured I'd knock out some electrical since I had another way to get to work in-case I messed anything up. Well so far I haven't. Installed my sPod, should've taken pics on where I mounted it but then again I'm bad at taking pics. But I finally installed my Cali-LED side shooters and a lightbar behind the grill.

All da switches, just need to wire up my fogs, rock lights, get a roof lightbar and get some backup lights (that comes when I get a rear bumper).

So once I get this thing up and running it'll be in time for wheeling/camping season. Hopefully by the end of that I can get a DD so I can start doing some major maintenance like new steering rack, bushings, strengthen my frame.

Also in the next few weeks hopefully I can get my full skid project up and finished. Just need to get metal and get to my buddies to fab it up!

Got my fifth rim today. Just need the swing-out, frame reinforcement plates and the full size spare! Hopefully by the summer time this will be complete

That is true I did get it yesterday haha. That's the plan but they are dragging their feet to get it up and running. But a DD may take it's place prior to getting it. I'll know more this weekend :spy:

A daily is the most enjoyable truck mod I’ve done. Total game changer.

When I was borrowing the Golf it was nice to have my truck in pieces and not worry about getting to work or not

    Went wheeling last weekend!

Also I ripped out my windshield washer reservoir so I'm in the process of making a new one right in time for the pollen season :pout:

I installed my rock lights but didn't get any pics, still need to mess with the rear ones a tad

Attempting to bend my gas tank skid so I can finally mount it. Other than that saving for a daily to keep the miles off this bitch.

Went wheeling again this weekend, just a short quick trip.

Thomas got a bunch of footage so I'm sure there will be a video coming some time in the next few weeks.

Also people who have relocated your windshield reservoir what did you do with the sensor?

I got a universal wiper res off ebay and wired it in. Came with its own pump and everything, fit in the corner behind my cruise control

I didn't ha. I was at home and didn't log in much, but I came to work with 93 notifications so I didn't bother looking for tags :anonymous:

I haven't cut mine but I'll go take a look in that thread.

Wish I could throw one there but that's where I put my sPod. Was just going to drill into a water bottle but from what I've seen people didn't use the sensor but then the plugs are different if you don't use the sensor

Mine doesn't have a sensor but no lights are on so frankly I don't care.
@Blackdawg did a cool write up for a PVC res using the stock harness here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...trail-rig-and-bs.159436/page-398#post-8802626
