See that's where I keep getting confused. Techincally I lived and working in CO all last year, but still had a WY drivers licence. Granted I know I am supposed to update it but just never did and no issues ever came from it.

Especially with all the workers traveling to come here but not living here I know most don't have TX DLs.

    The license doesn't matter.

But you'd have to have a residence in MT to get a truck up there with no sales tax. Thats my point.

No one cares where your drivers license if from. Long as its valid.

Probably lol. I almost set up an LLC originally for my suppresors, but set it up through a trust instead to save on the LLC fees. Not a bad idea tho.

Some of the guys at the job have new jeeps that they have decked out, so they are trying to get me to buy one. Makes me wanna go pick up an old 1st gen just on principle lol.

Lol mine only cost me $1 so can't complain. The suppressors on the other hand...well that was a graduation gift to myself.

On unrelated note, nice to see you got the 3rd gen back.

So is the question "what do you need to do to be 100% legal," or "what can you get away with." All states have it spelled out quite clearly what makes you a resident and how long you have to change everything over. It is different for every state, so you would need to check the relevant laws in any state you might be a resident in. Most states are fairly lenient, and if you inquire at the DMV they will usually help clarify things for you.

Eh im aware its frowned upon not changing the licence right away, but that isn't overly my concern. I was more considering how to save money in the event of a large purchase. I am guessing at least half, if not more of Midland right now doesn't have a Midland based, or TX state, ID.

    Near Sheridan.

It snowed a bunch Saturday, not so much yesterday and has been gong at it all day long today. Don't really know how much we have because it's drifting quite a bit, probaby about a foot. It's been warm enough yesterday and today that a lot of it has been melting, otherwise we would probably have two or three feet.

Are the OEM toyota hub assemblies the go-to or is there a solid aftermarket option?

wtf did you do to yours?

And sorry, to me a hub assemble has bearings and such. Thats just a hub.

Did you bearings go out or did you strip the splines?

    What haven't I done lol.

Front end just needs a spruce up. Control arm bushings are shot. Bearings sound like they're going out. Needs a brake job. Need to rebuild my axles.

Ah, well if you are just doing bearings you don't need new hubs.

I don't think so. Unless your splines are fucked up. If your studs are screwed up just buy new studs.

    I would go OEM bearings.
