Custom TRD Method NV Center Caps

They are raw dyed black. No paint. Most guys use a satin krylon to match the Method finish.

 

The 305's use Ver 2 right?

Thought I had it set up so I would be notified about new posts to this thread but apparently not. Very bummed that I missed the v2 caps.

I would still love to have a set for my new wheels. I would gladly pay double and pay in advance if that’s what it takes. Please make some more for your eager followers.

Had my local tire shop install these since they were putting the new tires on. Even asked them to center them for me. FYI.. for those of you wanting to paint them I would go with Krylon colormaster satin instead of flat black. Doesn’t look bad but if you look closely (ocd like me) you can tell the sheen is off. Thanks a million @mesojdm! Your products are top notch. Surprised Toyota hasn’t offered you a job yet.. or have they?

 

Did you paint the hardware too?

 

Yessir! Basically I broke down a cardboard box I had laying around and punched them through so I would only hit the tops of the bolts and maybe a tiny bit of thread to get the sides of the tops.

Nice! Just ordered. Silly question I'm sure but do you have to remove wheel from vehicle to do the swap? I fiddled with one awhile back and the bolt just spun vs backing out.

Yeah you’ll need to remove the wheels unfortunately! There are nuts that hold at least 3 of the bolts in.. on mine 3 were actually fastened with a nut and 3 were just pressed in to match if I remember correctly, but all 6 wouldn’t come out until I had the cap removed from the wheel

 

Had a feeling that'd be the case. More awkward stares from neighbors as I work on the truck in my shared condo garage!

 

You sir are a god send. I have searched far and wide for different center caps. I just came across this thread looking at the different group buys. I have the three hole variation (Method Holes) and one of my caps just randomly came off on a trip. I knew I wouldn't be replacing it with the Method caps. They are hideous. As I have the three hole and am missing one cap, any idea what I could use to fill the other three holes if I were to get the V2?

 

Received my caps yesterday, installed this morning. What an improvement. Thank you for making these awesome caps. Chose to install mine as delivered, no painting.

 

@mesojdm do you know when you’ll have some v2 in stock? Have some methods waiting for tires so it’s the perfect time to get those before they are mounted.

 

Would buy a set of V2’s
