So you didn't need the extra support from the "wooden legs" for the middle like OP used? I have a tonneau so I could do it, but if it wasn't necessary I would definitely skip it

Ya I only recently seen on this forum of people mounting them so I tried it out. Took little to no effort at all lol

I couldn’t really tell if he took the legs off of the tent cot maybe that’s why he would need some extra support. But I left the legs on and although they’re not down like they are supposed to be having the tent on the cross bars I have seems sturdy enough. I’ve had a buddy that weighs close to 300 pounds lay in it with his girlfriend and it seemed to hold up lol

I had taken the legs off so that is why I added the little wooden legs which I replaced with metal ones later.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t I think if I’m correct that the weight limit for these tents as they stand on the ground is 500. Now of course that may change if it’s mounted without the legs or with the legs folded up. But I don’t see it being a problem in my opinion.

I agree. It seems more that the weight limit would be about the material creating the bed/cot.

Yes exactly I mean as long as there’s something pretty heavy duty to support it where someone mounts it, it should be just fine.

Yes, don't tweak it to mount it up in a weird configuration too.

i have a roll up tonneau cover made up of tarp material so i don't think the modified additional legs would be an option for me like OP did. also, some people said here that if you just leave the legs folded, it will be uncomfortable because you'll feel the bars. im thinking about getting KB VOODOO's mid height rack, i was wondering if that rack would be enough to support this kamprite idea?

I have the double. Be sure to look at the legs on it too. They make two versions.
