Good point, but if I wanted a generic lt truck and just saved my money for the same time I'm going to spend making all my purchases and messing around with my pile I could buy a built 2nd gen :anonymous:

I just have ocd and want things done my way... I gotta pay the price for that though lol

As long as you gotta ride that's a win in my book lol

Not actually mounting to the floor. Just mounts are very close to the floor. Should be pretty rigid after I weld everything up and add a few gussets.

If your truck was 4 door he would probably do it. He wants a 6.7 f250.

Question for the shock gurus on here. I feel very stupid asking this but the valve caps for our shocks aren't all that important right? As in I can buy some at the local parts store (preferably the metal/plated brass ones) and call it a day. I ordered some schrader valves from Kartek and learned they sell the caps separate. So I am just trying to avoid paying shipping and waiting a couple of days once again. On their site it says they are high pressure caps so I'm not too sure if regular ones will hold up.

Yes. Him, Paul, and Carl have all been super cool with me saving money any way I can - I appreciate the level of customer service I've gotten from them.

It's the xlt for my first gen - I need to figure out how I'm going to get the shock hoop installed since my fabrication skills are basically non-existent at this point. I may pony up the cash to have them finish it after I do the bolt on stuff - they offered to let me limp it over with the stock coilovers and the rest of the kit installed so I don't have to pay them to do stuff I can do on my own. Still up in the air if I should buy a welder and some basic fab tools and figure it out on my own...

That guy trades around prerunners and fixes them up/flips them, not a bad thing. From what I've seen, having no first hand experience with the dude or the trucks, it seems like he cleans them up and will finish a build, use it for a bit, then trades for another truck plus cash or sell outright.

I may be wrong but I think he might've had that black linked tundra posted a few posts ago too at some point, could be wrong though but I know he had a couple first gen tundras that were built.
