Hey folks! Was holding off till I got a few upgrades to start my build thread but I’ve seen a few people wish they had started at stock so figured I’d start now. I have a 2018 Tacoma SR5 DCSB 4x4. Traded in my 2WD ‘16 for it. So far, other than a K&N filter everything I’ve done is aethsetic and not performance related. Recently got my hands on some 285/75/16 Cooper Adventurer A/Ts for cheap so once I get my lift and some wheels with proper backspacing I’ll get her some new shoes and an offroad ready stance.

Also, this is the lift I’ve picked for this build. The block in the rear will do until I have some other necessary upgrades done then I plan to replace it with the Dakar Leaf kit

They are Auxbeam LED headlights. Amazing product! Good light output and excellent fit. Have the built in LED fan and come with a CANBUS if your truck needs one. Can’t beat the price and quality for $60. Here’s the link:

For me it is purely aesthetics. When I got my original 2016 2WD I saw this grille on customcargrills.com and wanted it for the retro style logo. I’ve become fond of it and passed it on to my ‘18.

Nice! Yes I’m really happy with them and the light output they give. And the fan is very quiet. For $60 you can’t beat the quality. Unless they burn out in a few months lol but I’ve read a lot of great reviews on them.
