in my opinion this is still on topic. texans figure they will be so much better off living off of themselves and not having to associate with any other country.

if this is the case texas better start shutting down walmarts and any other store that mainly sells anything not made in texas.

All of this is true. Except that, since we ride horses instead driving cars, we can't shop at walmart because there'd be nowhere to put the mountain of stuff we bought on sale.

Have any of the Military/law enforcement guys thought about the part of our oath where it says "..I will protect and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Do you think Texas seceding from the republic would incite another civil war? If so, where would the Military guys stand? Im all for limited fed. gov't and states rights and sovreignty, but I swore to defend the Republic.

it sounds to me light you guys are assuming that the rest of the world assumes you guys ride horses and shoot guns.

i envision texans as people sitting on their front porches, magnum in hand with a dually superduty in the driveway. if someone walks by that isn't white, they get a serious stare down.

no horses, no tumbleweeds, just nut jobs out to make sure everyone else is being white and doing things their way, the proper way, the only way.
