Purchased the bolt on sliders w/ kickout, fill plates, and hoop flat. And a full set of steel skids w/ reinforced ribs!!!

Considered the powder coat and aluminum, but the armor is going to take a beating. And $$$. Self etching primer and rattle can in black should do the job. Just need to find good paint choice.

Super excited to install on my new truck!
Now I need to pull the trigger on hidden winch or low profile front bumper. And rear bumper. Love the HC style but not sure if I’m ready to cut... Swingout sounds nice, but the weight of my build is starting to add up and I’m concerned the factory leaf won’t cut it.

Hopefully all this armor (plus winch and front and rear bumper, bed rack, etc...) doesn’t destroy the performance or cause major sag on my 2018 TRD Pro Fox suspension.

Trying to maintain the stock Pro suspension but I know eventually I’ll need to upgrade. I’ve been researching every day on the best way to mod this trim level without completely swapping out entire suspension. Not considering that until warranty is up.

Firestone ride rite airbags is a great way to supplement the rear if you don’t want to swap out leafs just yet.

Thanks for the input! I’m new and still absorbing a lot of stuff.

Most info I’ve read about replacing the stock leafs on my Pro leads me to believe I’d have to lift my front too, but the Foxes on my Pro are not adjustable. At that point I might as well just go with a full aftermarket setup.

I’ll definitely read up on the Ride Rite. Sounds like a great option for the weight in rear. So far I only see parts up to 2017 but I’m sure they will work on my 2018. How difficult would they be to install myself? Onboard compressor necessary?

I read some members have good remarks about Sumo Springs too. Not sure if they have similar product.

I haven’t read much on sumo springs, but I do know a couple people that use them and are happy with them.

Regarding only up to 2017, that’s merely them not updating their website. There weren’t any major changes to the 2018 that would affect anything.

No onboard air is necessary, as these can simply inflated with a bicycle pump to your desired pressure. As far as install, I think it’s fairly straightforward and all bolt on.

Haha, no way. Even though parts arrived we are still 6 weeks max before we will start building production runs.

For those of us that ordered during the Christmas/new year 15% off sale, are we getting close for our sliders? Have a trip planned for AZ in three weeks and would love to have the protection beforehand :)

Just got my MobTown Skid plate in. Very impressed with the welds. It definitely was a lot heavy than expected. I opt'd getting it raw so that I can prep and paint it. For anyone that wants any other color than black. It is worth it getting it coated from MobTown. Just for the the time and product needed their pricing is very fair.

Thanks for a Great Product! I will try to post pics when its complete.

Agreed on the powder coat. I was always against it, but painting large things is such a pain in the ass.

Get the steel skids and your truck will look like this instantly.
A lot of people don’t know the skids are where they hide the pussy magnet.B12D383B-D3F7-44F6-B29F-A7DBCAA55BF9.jpg

Patience is important. I ordered sliders during the Christmas sale in December and haven’t gotten a tracking number yet. I was told they were waiting on supplies and that’s why my order got pushed back. Worked out though, added some skids and high lift adapter to my order. But yea, these things don’t ship quick so be patient!

Today we ran enough parts to weld 30 sets of rock sliders. Bent 60 hoops and spent a lot of time on the saw. Finished a bumper too so tomorrow we will start fitting sliders and getting through weld and out the door or to powder.

I'm digging the front bumper. Never seen one like it before.
