It's a great, inexpensive alternative to doing a shock relocate and running a 12" shock. Like @Pigpen mentioned you'll have to modify your bump stops a little bit but it's not a big deal. If you run a U bolt flip with timbrens or wheelers super bumps, then that's easy to fine tune the bump height

I got mine for 350 front and rear from bilsteinlifts.com and I just put the coils on the struts and guided them into the bucket with my hand as i jacked it up under the LCA. No spring compressor or anything, and it was super easy. They ride great!

Yeah it seems a bit safer since you have the tie rods and ucas in the way if anything tried to happen. Almost impossible to mess up too!

So here's a great back and forth I had with someone awhile ago that should answer your questions. Give it a read and I'll answer any other questions you may have.

When was considering the 5100’s, Down South had them frequently for $330 shipping included- not sure what it is now.

What is the difference between stock and light load? When it says 2.0", that means it gives a 2" lift or it's for a 2.0" lift? I know I can set the Bilsteins to 0 but are the coils what provide the lift? I'm afraid that if the lowest it can be is a 2" lift in the front, I'll have to lift the rear as well

    Springs provide lift, not shocks.

I’m not really sure. It lists 2885s as both 2” and 3” which makes no sense. If you’re trying to only lift the front and not the rear, I’m not sure this set up is for you. 5100 on 0 paired with eibach 620 lb is 1.5” of lift which would be good for you.

Alternatively you could get some stock coil overs off a 3rd gen offroad and those lift the front 1” on 2nd gens. Can add a 1/4” spacer on top for a little more lift if wanted.

http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/toyo...t-by-low-range-off-road-tac-sk-bil1-5-2g.html Welp, for some reason I can't buy this from work... So I guess I have to wait till I get back home to purchase it. If anyone has better options till then, holler... I'm getting rid of my helper springs in the back and going with AAL. I have a camper and a rooftop tent in the summer. So hopefully it rides a bit better. The helper springs would bounce alot in the back.

Low range has the springs listed as 8700 as the heavy load and 886 listed as medium. I believe this is in correct. Should be 886 as the heavy & 887 as medium.
