So I bought this spring compressor for mine. It worked just fine.

I had initially left mine at 20mm with front pelfreybilt bumper and that's about it since November. Damn near hated it!! Was very rough and every bump was jarring. Went down to 15mm today and just a quick 2 miles around and it's far better. The rear still seems a little stiff with the Dakar pack but so be it. After I mess with rebound and compression some I'd say it's gonna run just fine for my liking.

Just bumper at this point. Probably do sliders next which should soften the rear.

So I went to adjust my comp and rebound settings today. I have been driving around with them cranked up from the last trip I took. 2 of 4 were extremely difficult to adjust. IMG_0398.jpgI sent ARB an email asking if I should be concerned by this and if they would send me another spanner. I have tweaked the settings 6-8 times in the year+ I've had them on and never an issue. See what ARB has to say.

Has anyone with this kit added shims to the dakar leaf pack? I am getting some driveline vibes

Thanks for the feedback. I wonder why OME decided not to include shims in the kit. Regardless I am going to order up a set.

Every truck is a little bit different. Some folks only need the standard CB drop to fix their vibes. I took the time to measure the angles and get them as close to 1 degree as I could.

No kept it at the 20mm factory settings, put the compression down to zero and rebound at 2 both front and rear, truck rides awesome!

Anybody know how much the Bp-51's with the collar backed all the way to zero would lift the front of a DC with no additional weight in the front (no bumper, skid, etc)?

Why is your alignment cam upside down?

Great post. Supper helpful. I recently went with the OME BP51’s, they are badass, I put on a lot of road miles but also hunt out west and play up north. Really happy with this setup.

Installed with recommended 20 mm setting and it was too much, sitting up too high and topping out as mentioned by Wildpeak, I should note that I installed the TRD Pro skid plat but have factory bumper. No other add on’s (No added extra front weight).

I took it back to the shop to have it lowered and they called ARB directly and discovered the recommended 20mm setting is for “off road front additions”. Further with my current set up they recommended a 10 mm setting and it is primo. At some point if/when I add front weight I’ll most likely have to readjust the front height to 15mm or 20mm.

All in all it rides great on the road. Dirk roads at about 30/40 mph takes the rain ripples like nothing I’ve experienced. Can’t wait to put it more of a test now.

I ordered mine, waiting for them to come.

I see the full dakar pack is giving about the 2.75 inches of lift in the rear.

What are we seeing for lift with springs removed?
I think I've seen elsewhere that people either remove the overload spring or the 3rd lead? I'm still hazy on jt
