Anyone w/ an 01 / 02 with a tach know if you have one or two trip counters (besides the main odo) on your odometer?

Thanks. I have 2 on my 2nd gen and I use them for mileage per tank and oil change intervals - I might try to change out my 98 for a later one plus the white gauges are nice too lol

Was never tested. Previous owners never brought it in before the deadline, so I'm SOL. No doubt it would fail, especially if persuaded. So it's up to me to fix it now. If only it were a recall and not a safety bulletin.

My '00 has two - surprised your '98 only has one. Black gauges on the '00 though. I use one for tank miles, and the other for trip miles. Not sure I could do oil change intervals, since I disconnect the battery for various mods, and that resets the trip ODO's. Just something to keep in mind.

maybe I got to double check - it's been 8 months since I've had a running engine in my truck lol - maybe I can just hook up the batter and test some stuff :)

I usually have a good idea of where I'm at on oil since I cycle through them for mileage every couple weeks. If I reset the oil one I know pretty much where I left off.

That's pretty sweet. I wonder if scangauge II has that - can't leave it hooked up since it has a 150ma constant draw with the engine off.

for the rear suspension alone? i can set aside $6k at most. front is probably going to cost about that anyways. i do plan on using it for overlanding and trail riding but id like to hit the baja lol. we do have the indiana dunes nearby me so i can have some desert type fun lol

I say get the truck on the trail. Use it for a few years. Then figure out if you would actually utilize a 4 link setup.
