I just separated my front wheel Bearings lets say drivers side was ok but passenger side had muddy wet grease. Weird as i never saw signs of wheel bearing failure until i tryed to drive a block with no axels.
Don't try that!!! It dosnt work. Trust me i learned the hard way.:anonymous:

Chappie ohv in the Redding/ Shasta dam area soon anyone? My father spun tales of waterfalls and other magical shit in the park, but I was sold at 200 miles of trails listed in the brochure

Figure it might be worth checking out. I'll bring beer and steaks :1up:

Nice! Another Redding guy! I went out there a few months ago but just hit Trail 3 (the one that runs from the Keswick entrance to Shasta Dam staging), was real mild but still fun! I’d definitely be down to check out more and I’ve got Thurs-Sat off this week? I think @MandosTaco did part of Trail 4 it looked like it had some pretty nice overlooks of the lake!

I tried to make it out from your profile pic but do you have a silver 2nd gen with a Prinsu rack and a Sharks sticker on the bedside? I’ve seen that truck like 3 times parked along my route to work (in front of Kobe on Shasta) and was wondering if the owner was in here haha

You guys !!! I found some great wheeling. Safe and not safe. CLEAR CREEK RECREATIONAL AREA(asbestos mines)I didn’t see anyone there at all. It’s about 1.5 from King City. Only problem is blm locked me in with only 1/4 tank of gas. But here’s photo of us shimming lock(deleted)and busting through some water.

The gate was open? He got locked in after. Whats the issue? If the trail was closed it should have been locked right?

No you can’t lock someone in to a area with no other roads out. The gate was completely open. WE OWN BLM and I am not going to roll over and let the government just lock me in and starve to death. Someone should’ve checked to see if someone was inside. And btw no service for 2 hours

And that lock would've popped from a couple whacks from a 3lb hammer. It's a cheapie lock.

If you think bolt cutters are weird, you should've been there when I cleaned out my truck last week. All sorts of stuff went in dumpster. Kept some soft straps and shackles. But 30' recovery loop and chains got to stay. So did sister chains and pear links. And tons of relays and fuses, boss took the axe and big bolt cutters. Air saw I gave to the shop helper.

That’s what eventually popped it open. If that didn’t work, I wouldve either used some wax loads, and if that didn’t work I was going to hi-lift the whole fence in half.

    Some really cool shit
They recess the lock into a space that won’t allow bolt cutters, in most cases.
