It's a sand color. Another member bought one this past GB. Perhaps he'll post some pics once he gets it set up. You can see a swatch of it in the GB #2 thread. Link is in the OP.

Since I didn’t specifically say. I’d be down for a passenger side tan awning and annex. (That square is preferred but same as others works)

Rationale for driver vs passenger side mount. Those that have them or have put serious thought into it?

I haven't opened my Awning yet and I can't remember what I have ordered. I hope whatever color it is, the same color would be available for the annex.

For me it didn’t nessesarily matter which side and I can easily just put the RTT on the other side of the cruiser.
That being said. I do know people who’ve setup storage inside the vehicle that makes more sence to have the awning on one side or another.

Maybe the kitchen is on the driver side of the trailer so you mount the awning on that side.

Will you be setting up at places which primarily have “one ways” maybe you need the passenger side so you can put it on the side opposing traffic in the camp ground.

It all depends upon your vehicles setup really.

My rear tire swingout swings from the passenger side, so it's less intrusive to set up camp on the driver's side.

I've got a pop up A Frame camper that has the entrance door on the passenger side. No brainer for me in order to create a shelter living space all on one side.

Unless you want to setup a wrap around rear porch...

You have driver side grey awning. The awning annex setup you'll have is identical to @ElephantsCBR setup in the op.

Trying to figure out a way to extend the mount of the awning out a bit more so the annex walls fall straight down to give more interior room. I think if you can get another 4" extension on the mount you'll get the interior walls off of the vehicle and a roomier interior.

Not a bad idea in some circumstances, but experience tells me it's a no go for my setup. I really like to access my drawer system, and if I leave the camper hitched it's a pain to climb over it all the time anyway.

For what ever it’s worth bud. If you have the walls, which it shows you will, the swing out may hit the wall, which it wouldn’t have on the passenger side awning. I’ve got a swing out on both sides and can easily walk around the ladder but the tire hits the wall. 8F3895C6-8BC6-4167-8642-413AC715CB1B.jpg
