We have plans almost every weekend between now and Jambo - I'm worried we won't get everything done we need to accomplish!

If I remember correctly(A lot of beer was consumed so a little fuzzy) more room for better camp spots since it started to fill decently later in the afternoon on thursday last year. Trails were pretty empty on thursday also. As far as wheeling I dont need the extra day since I go to BMRA fairly often but since others I like to run trails with are getting there early thursday it makes me want to also.

I'd say better camp spots- and the sooner you get set up the sooner you can hit the trails.

Same, tomorrow I should get all my wiring done if I can pick up a CB cable from 4wp's. Going to get my Switchpros, ditch lights, possibly some rear lights and the CB installed! I dont want to use it as a hand held anymore, reception SUCKS. If I cant complete it tomorrow it will be difficult to get it all done before Jambo.

Nope, I'm not ready for the disapointment of it not getting here for jambo or a jambo install. I know they wont just ship it though since they need to contact me to get shipping payment and I still owe them some $ from the ordering mistakes.

I'm trying not to think about my bumper too much...that way if it happens to be ready in time- it will be an awesome surprise!

I would love that surprise with the exception of making time to install it. I was told it would be a full 10 week lead time which wont be until the 26th of this month which is only a week before jambo so I kinda doubt I will get it in time.

I can bring tools, and drink beer while you cut things. Might even help some.

If I can get it by or at jambo it will get installed. I can figure out the details when I know if I'll have it to install.

Very much true. I saved it for a reuse though because of how much I loved it and how much it reminded me of you.

    Yep pretty much.

DO IT! Then we can all roll in together.

I am getting there Thursday so I can get a camp spot, unload some stuff and then run back into Gilmer to acquire the beer and ice in a cooler for Friday night so less weight getting up there... because it is going to be a heavy ass cooler.

haha ya that was me, were you there? That motivated me to get my steel bumper.

I agree with Superbad, the clazzios are great, they clean up nice and are holding up, they show no signs of wear at all. Still fit as tight as day one.

are you guys with RTT's brining them to Jambo? I love mine but sometimes makes more sense for longer trips, idk if I want to break it down and set it up every day out there to hit trails, then be stuck at camp for night runs or setting up late in the dark. I know it takes 5 mins but still

If you will get better sleep in the RTT... bring it... it will be worth it just to have a good nights sleep compared to sleeping in a tent on a pad or air mattress.

It usually takes us like 20 minutes after saying we are going on a trail run to actually leave for the trail run... so you would have time to tear down in the morning and such...

    Yea, he likes his.

I am just going to have the ground tent, air mattress, and my sleeping bag.

I am usually drunk enough to not give a crap... and then regret it in the morning when I sleep with all my clothes on, a half inflated air mattress, and only on one side of my body so that my hip hurts all day from being on hard ground all night...

    Still worth it.

This. You need sleep at Jambo. The sun and alcohol and long hours will grind you into dust if not. We are still deciding what to do for sleeping but I may buy a RTT to mount on our gooseneck. I'm not super comfortable with the RTT idea because I'm afraid I'll fall out but it's also easy to have ready at camp in like 5 minutes and leave there. Last year we brought our pop up camper and it was nice having AC and a bed but it was a pain for me to haul it since it brought my MPG down to like 10.
