will a '00 lift fit on my '01?

    hey all, i got a 01 double cab trd 4x4. this guy around my way is sellin a 3 inch lift for a 2000 model. would it fit on my 01?

    It should, what kind of lift is it?
    EDIT: the front should work at least. im not sure if the rear is different on the double cab and extended

    as far as I know it will fit, the front is the same but the rear if it is a block or aal it will work but if its the complete leaf pack they list a different part # for 01-04

    I Agree. Anything 98-04 crosses with each other suspension-wise

    Its actually a 3 inch body lift from performance. Accessories. He is going to sell it to me for $100.00 should I get it or save up for a suspension lift? Anyone got any pics of just a body lift on there taco? What else is required to complete the lift if I plan to use it?

    Andres Devil Horns, Goodyear Duratracs, Accidental Tailgate Delete (x2), Billy 5100s, OME 881 coils, Wheeler's 5-leafs, BAMF Sliders with kickouts, Box Rocket Fab Bedrack.
    I would skip the body lift. Save money, do research, and keep an eye out for group buys/deals here on parts. I've had non-Tacoma friends do body lifts and none were happy with them. Plus on an 01 your suspension, if original, is probably worn out anyway.

    I would not go with a body lift. I have seen one before and it does not really look all that great. 3 inch suspen would be better. I wanted a body lift for my truck but it didn't look good.
