Apparently wheeler's had the flip plates in stock but the holes for the bump stop were not tapped... So another week of waiting

On another note I seafoamed the T100 and gained 4 mpg from the 1st tank. I got 19 on the latest tank with the sled in the bed. Could also be getting used to driving an auto again and turning overdrive off going up hills since it doesn't seem to want to down shift.

I was getting a pending code for cylinder 1 misfire on cold starts, this was the main reason for seafoaming. It hasn't come back since. Some may say it's snake oil but I'm a believer in the stuff cleaning out the internals.

So wheeler's just called to let me know the flip plates are in but... the Daystar body mounts aren't. Well at least they said they will ship the rest of my order so I can get my Alcans installed.

Welded lower mounts on. 28" from eye to eye. This morning while driving to work I was reflecting upon everything yesterday and realized that I wanted 27" from eye to eye because of the welded rod end. I could just say screw it and go with the 28" but I think I'm going to hack the lower off and move them up an inch to help with ground clearance. I'm not looking forward to hacking them off....

Threw the BOSS shock in to see what things would look like. Also who needs ubolts when you have c clamps!

Is the shock body going to clear the brake lines and ebrake brackets at full bump?

Good point that I hadn't thought about. I can massage the brake like out of the way more and cut and move the ebrake brackets if I need to. I think if I bring it up an inch it will help also.

 someone posted it in NJBS. So funny cause so many different styles east vs west. Went to AOAA a couple week ago ago and the trails were so tight. Caught my first body damage in years there.

I look at it like this. East coast is harder on the vehicle, West Coast is harder on your mind. Also eastcoast you fuck up you get damage, West Coast you fuck up you get dead.

    *disclaimer*
This is just a generalization because I know terrain and situations vary both east and west :D

Idk what's going on at Wheeler's right now but they seem to be a mess. Received my order yesterday. Expected to have the ubolt flip kit, super bumps and spring bolts since they said the Daystar was out of stock. Ended up getting the Daystar but didn't get ubolts... Called them and they said the ubolts were out of stock. Received a call a half hour later saying they found a set in the back and they would be here by Friday. Probably my last time ordering from them. Never had an issue in the past but this has been frustrating. O and they also forgot the candy :p.

Hoping to test fit the bed tonight and make sure everything clears. Then burn in the xmembers, and figure out what to do with the proportioning valve since one of the lines will likely interfere with the shock. Can't wait to get this project wrapped up.

I haven't made it to much further than this. I did finish burning them in last night though. Hoping to finish painting, popping my gas tank dent out and getting the bed back on tonight.

I like how @Speedytech7 shock crossmember extends all the way to the edge of the frame. The TG tube is about and inch short for being able to do that. I doubt it'll make a difference but his is definitely stronger.

I had planned on putting the second xmember inside the frame but realized it would interfere with my Jerry can mount. That's why it's so short. Hopefully it holds up to the frame flexing.

I'll be taking more pictures but if you want anything specific feel free to ask.

Yep, Daystar 1". Allows the bed to sit right on top of the tube.

Okay cool, I was really confused on how that could sit there otherwise.

I need new cab mount bushings and have heard the Daystar feel better than the poly. Also gave me the benefit of putting the shock higher so I figure why not.

Using the jack is an awesome idea. I have this on my list of shit to still do. That's not the stock bottle jack though, is it? Also that "gas tank skid" is laughable

I mean there is some metal left so it technically is still a skid, right?
