It can be so hard to get people (parents) to go to a doctor. Long story short, my mom was a bit off a few years ago and everyone was blowing it off. I didn't like the way she was answering some diagnostic questions i was asking her... get to the hospital...active stroke,ongoing brain bleed and she was on a blood thinner at the time.
Drag your parents to the doctor....
Annnd now she's back to pack a day cancer sticks...uuggh

 

He had surgery on Friday and was sent home on Monday so he's certainly on track for a quick recovery! That was as fast as they could have released him.

 

It's not just parents; I generally avoid going to the doctor. I get my yearly checkup and mostly that's it (barring a serious injury). If I'm sick I don't go to the doc unless I can't kick it after a week. Obviously if I had a headache for 3-4 days I'd go in, because it's out of the ordinary (I almost never get them and usually an aspirin gets rid of it). I'd like to think that I'd go for something serious, but I'm not sure how obvious it would have to be before I'd recognize it.

 

Buy it, hook it up in the back of the truck. Wife can't get mad as she asked. Then your ready to roll on tw meets.

Exactly, needed a stronger spring to support the weight of kegs/ice/fridge/coolers/etc.

Nice mod to my windshield. Turn on the defroster last night and it looked like a movie special effect. Craaaaack. I've needed a new windshield due to pitting for a while but this has escalated the need for replacement...

 

Had a similar one happen 4 years ago

 

My new truck is slated to be in NY within the next two days--hopefully that means it's not the full two weeks I thought it was going to be delayed!

 

Something is going around at home. Oldest had ear infection and strep which turned into a cold. Passed it on to the youngest, who passed it on to the wife. Now it's coming my way .. Feel something... Scratchy throat, starting to get a runny nose so time for this again.

 

No deductible in MA at least!

I think my last one was because the landscaping guys were weedwacking at work. They weren't awfully close, but I assume a pebble flew and hit it. Wasn't upset at all, because it was badly pitted and it allowed me to get it replaced.

 

My girl's windshield cracked in the upper right corner. No visible cause why it happened.

 

Whatever you do, do NOT let your insurance company go through Downeast Glass. They're the ones that boogered my headliner last year, and had to come back twice just to correctly seal the damn windshield.

 

If I remember correctly, @MikeyMcFly can also recommend a company not to go through.

 

I had mine repaired by Safelite. No complaints. Haven't had a windshield replaced though.
