Couldn't wait for the optional release any longer. Been running 91 in my tank.

Just flashed 1.03 91 on the truck, from 1.03 87, with 1700 miles on 87 tune. Letting it idle for 20 minutes before going to work.

I flashed the TCU file again too, not sure if that was needed to "relearn" the transmission, but I did it anyways.

He means that the release is to be MT and AT tunes together, in the same new Flash Manager version. And that the hold up is because slushbox. So it'll be a few months or so

One thing I've learned (I run engineering / development teams for a living) is that rushing development almost always = more bugs and issues. So the longer we wait, the smoother its gonna be - is my motto anyhow!

Mat's investing the hours now, and not unlike what I see every day you go to address one thing and then find there are 40 other things linked to said change that must also be adjusted to compensate. So many layers of tables and variables in this ECU, it becomes a game of whack-o-mole for a developer to solve properly and safely.

Working as a designer with a large team of developers in IT...I can assure you this is the true. Development and programming is science and problem solving

    Agree fully.

No doubt Mat is perfecting the auto trans tune on his auto trans rig. The only way to do that on the M/T (currently) is to have M/T owners try a file, give feedback and log any issues. We've been done with that for about a week or so. There's no rushing involved with the M/T files at this point lol. Anyway, it's just a joke, but you guys are holding us up :D

Drove to work on the newly flashed 1.03 91, flashed TCU file again as well. Lower RPM power band improved slightly, truck can keep highway speed on hills just tad better than 1.03 87.

The throttle tip in did not change after flashing to 1.03 91, it felt the same as 1.03 87 which I drove for 1700 miles. So for those of us who thought the throttle tip in got better over time, or smoothed out some after learning, it DID NOT. We simply adjusted our right foot to the sensitive tip in throttle.

I still do not like the throttle tip in, that digital feel when I depress the gas pedal. Which the imminent optional release is suppose to fix.

@OVTune exactly whats in this new update besides the "throttle tip"? Whatever you're updating, can the throttle tip be left alone? I'm running 33's and I think it's perfect.
