This is the guy I took my active shooter training with.

 

Our armed agents had to take the same active shooter training as the rest of us (Unarmed Office Folk).

Should've seen the answers they typed into the dialog boxes.

The gist of it was every manner of insult against the person that created the test, then they went into technical details of the ballistics of a hand thrown stapler vs their issued HKs.

Yes, in an active shooter situation for an office worker like me, the stapler is my last resort.

 

Interesting. Was this something you did by choice? Looks more like defensive training that what I’ve seen for active shooter training....haha

Haha that’s not a good sign. Was yours just written? I’m not sure what the extent of training they are looking for here. I didn’t get the best response when I said I didn’t understand what an email would do without some sort of physical training to go along with it.

 

Yeah, it was an online course that I had to take at my desk.

There were dialog boxes to type in your answers, it was one of those there are no wrong answers sort of tests.

 

I think I saw one of those on the DHS website. I’m about to send out what I found so we will see what they say

 

Everyone knows that a properly thrown Swingline stapler has more stopping power than a 9mm HP. Ya just got to get it up to about 1200fps.
