Fun fact, your engine starter works just like your winch and has no fuse or circuit breaker.
Its wired direct to battery and uses a solenoid to energize it. So does a winch. Doesnt pull as many amps but utilizes same gauge of wire....
And will cause a fire if the cables are comprised.

I don't want to go harbor freight route but I don't need a twin.

So I can use my starter as a winch or vice versa? :cookiemonster:

I believe older Warn 8270 winches used a Ford starter to run them. Its been awhile, cant remember for sure...

Dang it, no love for the 4th gen 4Runner. They do have one for the gx470 though... I wonder why there is such a lack of off-road support for the 4th gen 4Runner. Must be too many grocery getting moms driving them.

    stuff
So far so good. Only done about 500 road miles but I like the ride. These things are built for the Tacoma and came on pros from the factory, so I think if you are going to modify your suspension it’s a very safe way to go. I developed a small takeoff vibe, which I think is the needle bearing issue.

    What hasn't been modified?
Here are a few thought. The single has a 50% duty cycle. Meaning 30 min on 30 min off.
For regular and slightly oversize both will be fine.
    Air locker. Both fine
Can add a tank but once it’s full and empty it into a tire your now filling the tire and tank.
Slee makes a mont for both, the single is ~$30 vs the twins ~130$
    Air tools twin
Airing up friends twin. Can do it on single but have to watch time and heat

Remember the twin fills 2x as fast
    And uses 2x the power
